It is an undeniable fact that technology has an enormous impact on our lives and it seems like while technology is developing, its effect continues to increase.

I know many parents are asking should we limit our children's technology use? As a psychologist, I think you should put some boundaries and limits, especially at a younger age, in a way that these boundaries serve to increase the benefit of technology for your child.

We are living in a technology age and I think expecting a zero technology may not be realistic for everyone. So, the best way would be to put some healthy boundaries.

However, in this article, I won’t tell you how you should limit your child’s technology usage. Instead of this, I will tell you how you shouldn't limit your child, and why you shouldn’t overprotect your child from technology and life in general.

I want to note that learning from screens and media is not recommended before two and a half age by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
